Moab
Utah has a number of tourist attractions
within the area. In fact Moab revolves around its
tourism. People come from all over the world to see the
red rock cliffs, the Colorado and Green Rivers and
fascinating arches. The tourism in Moab is comprised of
mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, jeep expeditions
and many more. In the summertime, the valley is like a
museum of RVs, Jeeps and rental cars with random license
plates. Many residents of Moab were simply traveling
through the area and never left. So take a look around

Arches National
Park Is located
just on the north corner of Moab, Utah as you drive
through highway 191 off of I-70. Arches National Park
is full of beautiful views and incredible rock
formations. Home of Delicate Arch which is the
background of most Utah license plates.
Canyonlands
National Park Is located
just south of Moab, Utah on highway 313. This
national park is much like the more well known Grand
Canyon. Full of red rock cliffs, deep valleys and the
winding Colorado and Green Rivers which meet in the
center of the park.Dead Horse Point
State Park is actually on overlook of Canyonlands.
SlickRock Is
the place where most of Moab's
"sprocketheads" spend their time. Its like
a huge bmx ramp with better grip than the pavement on
the roads. Although amateur bikers are welcome, be
advised that SlickRock is truly a test of endurance
and strength and can be extremely challenging. It has
been called the "Mecca of mountain biking."
Newspaper Rock
Recreational Site Is a
collection of petroglyphs
some up to 1000 years old. These designs were made by
the prehistoric indians of the era, early Ute Indians
and some by early white settlers.
Lake Powell Is a
popular vacation spot for many local Utahns and
tourists worldwide. It is 186 miles long with 1800
miles of shore line. It has 5 marinas were boats can
either be rented or brought in.
